Simon Dow (46) has trained over 550 winners on the Flat and under National Hunt Rules, including a number of prestigious Group race successes

He is personable, articulate, amusing and offers a unique insight into the world of horse racing, gambling and personalities both from the world of sport and business. He draws parallels between the training of thoroughbred race horses and success in the business world with ‘Winning – It’s a Team Game’ and ‘The Psychology of Success’.

There are few people who have not had a bet on the horses or watched a live race either in person or via a broadcast. Simon can take them behind the scenes, providing anecdotes about the highs and lows of his industry, stories about the colourful characters that inhabit it, and some of the gambling coups that have resulted. He has been seen frequently on camera on the ‘Attheraces’ Channel providing a form guide for races and is an accomplished after dinner speaker with appearances at the RAC and numerous sporting clubs.

Simon is available for sporting hospitality occasions, motivational business meetings and seminars, as a race day host and at Epsom racecourse has created a programme that includes a visit to his stables, 200 yards from the Grandstand.
